I have not installed this yet, but it fits my all nickel theme. Combined with a supercool computer cpu nickel block, and all nickel fittings from primcochill. It's shaping up to be a very esthetic build.
The power. The advertising pics never show the power cord. I was hoping the impeller provided power or it was battery powered. NO. It uses the same power connector as a CD-ROM drive via 22ga cable so have fun with that.
The water block works great and looks good. It has kept the GPU and VRAM cool and stable under constant 600watt loads. The only reason I am giving three stars is because apparently this kit does NOT come with a new metal PCI bracket to mount in your computer case (even though you see it in the product picture). Also, the PCI bracket off the stock cooler does not adapt properly to the water block either.
Luckily, I am mounting my GPU vertically and was able to jerry rig something to keep it upright, but it doesn't look good. If you were mounting it horizontally, you would need major bracing to keep it level as it is really heavy.
This water block works great, has good LEDs, and keeps temps down. It also comes with a new PCI metal bracket (2 row) so it will mount properly in your computer case.
Pro tip: don't reuse the thermal pads off the stock cooler, they are about 0.5mm thicker it seems, and that keeps the water block from seating properly to the GPU; which will overheat with a load on it. Use the thermal pads that come with the water block, and it will seat perfectly.
I picked up this block for my Gigabyte Gaming OC 5090 initially because it was the only one I could find for this card and really liked the ports being on the end of the card instead of the front.
Once i received the block and inspected it i was very impressed with the build quality and the material finish, its a great looking block and has a size that could even work in SF builds. No instruction were included but it was easy to find on the website and simple to follow. Everything you need was include in the package although i wish they came with pre-cut thermal pads, but no manufacture seems to offer this with their blocks.
Once installed the block has been performing as expected. I have used many blocks 0ver the years from EK, Alpahacool and Bitspower, mostly EK as I thought they were the best available. This is my first Bykski water block and I feel like I have been wasting my money on the over priced EK products. This block has performed just as good as any other brands I've tried with temps staying in the mid to low 40s under load which is 15 degrees below what the standard aircooler was sitting at underload in my case.
I can easily recommend this block, it performs well, looks great and at a reasonable price
Great product. Super easy to install. My 2nd waterblock after a 1080 back in the day. All pads and thermal compound included. Great temps produced.
Only needs some printed instructions in the box.
Ordered 6 of these, slabbed the cards and then realized these are not single slot water blocks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The tolerances are not tight enough -Even replacing the back plate screws with Ultra Low-Profile screws from Mishmi with 0.5 MM heads - still to thick.
A 5 star rating since they are Great Blocks to use if you don't need single slot!
The block leaked from the pump oring. Either they are using the wrong size orings or not using enough clamping force. Thankfully the leak was discovered while testing before I put it into my case. AVOID THIS MESS.
I got these water blocks to work on Asus prime cards. It is a tuf without the rgb headers...
The block performs well and is stunning visually. Unfortunately it did not include any instructions and the ones on the website are for the non-backplate model. It took me some time to figure out what screws I needed as they included both the set for backplate as well as no backplate.
I sought out these fans due to the high rpm and ARGB features come to find out this is a pretty powerful I will be ordering my remain 5 I just hope they keep these around and the look great in my case
Using this on a 285K socket 1851 and seems to work perfectly, and better then the AIO I had.
Same temps as the fan cooled if i remember correctly it sit at like 110 temp on max load which was the same are cooled this is Fahrenheit btw it made took off like 5 degrees if that
Fit perfectly and after plumbing up the cards own loop with a 480 radiator temps do not reach over 32c under heavy load while over clocked. Should have made the move to GPU water cooling sooner
The waterblock is well crafted and currently working great. BYKSKI supplied all necessary hardware, thermal paste and thermal pads.
The Granzon Distro Plate for the Lian Li 011 is beautiful. The Granzon LCD pump is a nice touch and working fine with my custom loop.
I had been looking for a water block for my Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7800XT GPU for a long time. I learned that AMD water blocks are not as prevalent as other GPU manufacturers. I had heard of Bykski while I was a user of other vendors GPU's, but never thought much of it. Well, the joke was on me because this Bykski water block is fantastic! The block is well manufactured and frankly has turned my GPU into an ice block compared to running out of the box. My GPU hotspot is actually 5-8 degrees cooler than the core, even at load. The instructions were easy to follow and provided the proper thickness of the pads and placement. PAY ATTENTION to this and use the correct thickness pads, IT DOES matter. My temps on the stock fans, which to be fair were quality fans, were mid to high 60's under load. With the Bykski water block they hit 56 under load and just seem to stay there. The GPU is running so much cooler and I was able to get rid of the AMD Adrenalin software (I only used it for fan curves), which has sped up my system and stopped a lot of hanging and crashing in certain games.
Overall, this water block is the best money I have spent on my PC in years. I have been water cooling for almost a decade now and Bykski has earned a place at the top of my list for water blocks. I am a very satisfied customer!
The quality and performance of these waterblocks is always great zero issues
Extremely nice quality block, enough thermal pads to cover the entire block. My 6900xt on the hotspot temp tops off at 72c after an hour of stress testing pulling 346 watts with a 360 Radiator. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid block.
