have to say with so much stuff that I bought, the only issue that I found is with the drain that I bought. I attached a fitting to it to try and drain my loop and found that the push pull drain would leak at little where it connected to the fitting. Id says other than that it's all cosmetic stuff that kind of turns me off from the brand. stuff like the fitting are a different shade of blue maybe due to the metals being different. The fact that the radiators have some like dirtiness to them like there's like a rustiness that I can see, as far as the saw and tubing, I found that my bends are 100% perfect and that's probably due to the small bending tools I got. I would love to see a bending tool to ensure perfect bends, would also love to see a deburring tool. they saw worked fine but felt it was just the cheapest thing ever even though I probably could have used anything else.
Overall, my temps are super low, and My Pc runs very well even though next time I may go with EK just due to their component looking better from a visual standpoint and I just feel like their Quilty. Do I regret going with bykski, absolutely not mainly because their distro plate solved a major issue for me when making my build. I feel if the company got really serious about their quality control that they could be a serious contender for other major brands.
Hi Alexander,
Thanks for the review! If by 'rustiness' you're referring to the fins, that's copper showing through because the paint on the fins is kept light to help prevent it from hampering performance. In most applications, it tends to not be visible past the fans or from typical viewing angles.
This water block does NOT fit a PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT Red Dragon as stated.
Apologies for the trouble, it appears Powercolor has produced two different variants of these cards. The block will fit the version that isn't using the higher profile cylindrical capacitor banks on the front of the circuit board. The image gallery on all recent blocks have images that show the circuit board layout the card is compatible with to help in these cases. Card manufacturers will often change cards mid-production for any number of reasons, usually for some manner of cost savings.
Looks great in the computer
I went ahead and bought this pump/reservoir combo since I wanted a small form factor pump that fits my Hyte Y40 case. It fits well and easy to install in the case. However the pump does not come with screws or mounting bracket and I had purchase them separately. I think Byski should have provided them at this price point. So for that reason, I took out 1 point.
No instructions and rgb died in first few hours, but nice block otherwise.
