Name the exact card, not just the chip

An RTX 4080 is not a card. It is a chip that ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ZOTAC and NVIDIA each build onto their own board, and a full-coverage water block is machined for one board - every port, screw hole and thermal pad lands where that board puts them. So an ASUS TUF and an ASUS ROG Strix take different blocks even though both say 4080 on the box, and a 4080 Super is different again.

That is why the search asks for brand, then series, then the specific card. It is also why the answer is often better than people expect: where several manufacturers build on NVIDIA's or AMD's reference board, one block fits all of them. A single block can cover a dozen cards, and yours may already be on that list even if you have never seen it named.

CPU blocks are the opposite

Here the exact processor barely matters. A CPU block mounts to the socket, so every chip in that socket takes the same block - a Core i9-14900K and a Core i5-12400 both mount on LGA 1700. Coverage is usually wider still, because sockets that share a mounting pattern share a block: LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156 and 1200 all use the same 75 x 75 mm hole spacing, so a block listed for one of them fits all five.

You do not need to know your socket to start. Name the processor generation and the socket follows from it.

If there is no block for your card

We will tell you so rather than sell you the closest thing. Fitting a block means stripping the card down to the bare die, so this is a repair-or-replacement-only catalogue and returns are not accepted on compatibility. An unused part comes back within 30 days, no questions asked; a part that has been installed and had coolant run through it can still come back, at a higher restocking fee.

That is why we would rather answer the question before the order. Where the finder has no match it takes the request directly - give it the exact card, brand, model and revision, and a photograph of the bare board if you have one.
